Learning about a wide variety of issues and current events is important to me.  Sometimes issues are very complex and having accurate information about these areas of interest helps us make informed decisions. We can not always rely on the news or talking heads to give us accurate information so it requires research.  I have the time to research a wide variety of topics and research is something I have always enjoyed. I have also come to realize that most American's really don't know very much about history and that most kids today just think it's boring. 

My topics area allows me to have a place to keep the information I'm collecting or have collected, and makes it possible for me to share with those who are interested. In case you are interesting in digging more deeply on a given subject I have chosen a variety of links and books in each subject area.

Personally I want to thank our military men, women, and their families for the sacrifice they are making everyday to help others in foreign lands become free and protecting our United States so we do not have to live like the people in Iraq, Aftganistan, Israel, and others.  We keep you in our thoughts and prayers.
